14 Left!!!
September 12, 2007 - Posted by Supreme Commander at 1:40 PM
Players Remaining: 14
Current Kill Leader:TIE - OSS117 (3) and John Sinclair (3)
It has been done.
It may interest you kids to know that I just finished going over the Master Wettings List. All the wannabe assassins that signed up and went 2 whole weeks without making the required kills, the punks that couldn't get #2 and those not cunning, lucky and tenacious enough are all gone...but a few of you remain.
How many you ask?
Far be it from me to keep you from this information.
We are now down to but 14 playing units left dry...and a few of those might be removed in the next 24 hours...
We are quickly heading to the end of the third week and barring some deluge of Akkadian proportions, it certainly does not seem that there will be a Last Person Standing when Monday rolls around.
...and so, we will have to go into a single week of Sudden Death to determine a winner.
The rules change drastically during that time. Things that concern you now will no longer concern you. Targets will change...and someone will end up getting wet.
Your little minds are probably full of questions about Sudden Death. Your thirst for more information will not be slaked by this posting. The details of Sudden Death will not be posted until later.
I am sure that those of you that survive that long will not be disappointed by the new task given you come Sudden Death.
There were recently some behind the scene machinations that I was not yet at liberty to reveal. The time for their unveiling is nearly here. There will be another posting shortly...
So...until I give you the candy I know yer gonna love in the next post, amuse yourselves with some player stories.

Rapport de mission
Cible : Amin El Fassi
Agent I.
Thanks Amin.

John Sinclair killed Onickz
Commander,
I confirm the killing of my third victim Onickz at 11 pm.
Obviously my target has a hard time accepting his death (which everybody can
understand) because he acted with no fair play and didn’t want to give me
his ID card (perhaps he didn’t have it on him?!).
So here’s my report to help you understand how I executed him with no mercy!
I had been hiding in my car in front of his home for 2 hours with a guy from
French television channel M6 you sure might know, called Regis Mardon who
wanted to make a movie of my hunting.
At a certain point I saw my target walking in the street with a big gun
under his arm and decided not to attack him on the street because he
probably had a much more potent weapon than me. So I waited until he entered
his building and ran out of the car to the door, entered the code I had
memorized a few days before watching an old woman entering the building, and
went in holding my gun with my right hand up ready to shoot. He had his back
almost turned to me and barely looked at me (probably thinking I’m just a
neighbour) and was very surprised when he saw my loaded gun pointing at him.
I shot him twice from a less than one meter distance, once on his knee and
feet and then right at him. The first time I shot he barely moved, the
second time he defended himself raising his arm (which by the way was until
then hanging down with his big gun) and shooting everything he had. It was
like Goliath against David, but the little David was smarter this time too
and shot first!
So Onickz thinks that because he had a bigger gun and I was at the end more
wet than him, he had not to die. But isn’t it the first one to hit his
target that wins? I shot and hit him first from a very short distance. And
even if we shot at the same time (so he claims…), isn’t it the hunter who
wins?!
To finish my report I want you to know that the reporter and cameraman Regis
Mardon caught the whole action on tape and watching it in the car
afterwards, he told me that it was obvious and absolutely clear that I shot
first and that Onickz just shot on an reflex-reaction to defend himself a
brief moment afterwards. He told me that he was ready to witness the fact
that I had killed first.

Skarleta killed Starshoot
My dear commander and Mustache
I waied for him all my afternoon. He's working in "la chapelle" close to a park full of immigrants trying to get a french girl or junky. So many people came to see me and I sold a souvenir picture of parrot in Pargue's Zoo. Then he had not the 4 euros that I asked him so he gave me 10. Just parrots in a zoo took with a 10 years old mac donal camera and devellop for free by a friend.
So I called him and then opened the fire on him.

OSS117 killed Joy
After a full week, tracking her every days, I finally kill Charlotte Cipriani, my target, in the street… She was going to the ‘’french metro’’, alone, quick steps, but not enough to escape…
Not easy at all, believe me, I spend more time on the game than with my girlfriend !
No problem for the kill validation this time, everything is perfect ! J
Can I go for the next target ??
Here is the Story, this time, in my best French and after, a google translation in english

Kouloukouik killed Ghost
kouloukouik killed Yann Slusarczyk
Dimanche 9 Septembre 13h :
On boit, on discute, on rigole, on boit...... on attend....
21h30

Takeshi Kovacs killed NIKITA
I finally kill Nikita, after 1.5 week hunting her, several waters exchanges (I always lose).
I woke early today. Just when I arrived, he boyfriend saw me exiting the building. I think that I've no chance to take her down again. But I decided to persist.
I spent 3 hours waiting for her on the next floor of her building. Her boyfriends checked several times that nobody was on the floor of her flat. At 9:30, I exited, checked the lower floor. For half a hour, she opened the door quickly to check that nobody here. She decided to exit and when she begin to going down the stair. I shooted her on the shoulder.
We spent 1hour discussing in a café. I'm glad having to hunt her. She was fair play all the time and our SMS and phone exchanges were funny.
I'm waiting for my next target with impatience.
Regards
Takeshi Kovacs

Daff killed Egon of Get Killed
Well, the Team "Get Killed" is officialy out of the game.
I successfully soaked Egon, leader of the team.
Thursday Sept 13, 15:30. I go to his office in my car with a girlfriend of mine.
We try to find some place to park the car.
But, as we arrive near the office frontdoor, I see Egon with a friend going out. He wears sun glasses but I know his face well. I keep driving for a few seconds, then I let my friend take the steering wheel and I jump out of the car. I follow my target, like 10 meters behind. I hide behind a truck. I let him crossing the street, then I run, hide again behind some cars, and suddenly jump on him and empty my gun on his neck.
The dude was very fair-play. He gave me his ID, we talked a bit. I called my friend and joined her at my car. We then went to a bar to celebrate. And now I'm ready for my next assignement....
No talking ! Just soaking !

Jeudi 13

Vlad almost killed Squid
Yesterday night, i came on my motobike to my target's home.
As has showed his letter box, he lives with 3 other people so he probalby won't open his door himself :-/
I asked a friend to knock his door but it was his girl friend who answered "not here" without opening.
After few minutes she get out to inspect the stairs at his return i pretended leaving.
I was just lying to stay near his door, i was sure he would go out.
10 minutes passed when his girl friend get out, i shooted her by mistake, at that moment my target put his armed arm out and then i shooted him befor being shooted
He said that he wasn't wet... i wasn't sure, i'm to kind so i said "ok for this time, i'm 24 hours out"
24 hours, good time to prepare my next attack ;-) and next time there won't be any escape for him :-D

Li H killed Triplebart
Last monday.
First step was to search his own place. Entering the building was difficult. 2 door codes, and a nasty concierge.
However the trick was easy to get inside. Sneak in after someone living there, obviously. That chinese girl typed the codes too fast, no way to learn them.
Don't give a shit.
I'm in the inner court. Run up and down his staircase, unable to spot his apartment. His mailbox is empty, so he's really home.
The court is a perfect ambush place. Nowhere near a square shape, it had some good spots out of someone going in or out's sight.
Moreover, a secondary gate - garbage exit - waited for me to open. I unlocked it but left it closed for another attempt. That would spare me the sneaking up behind innocents.
Two hours later, nothing.
Then the same the day after. Nothing, this guy does not come and go at decent hours.
Yesterday.
Let's take a new approach. Home is unbeatable, let's try work. I show up with another mercenary wingman.
7pm. We call in, through his direct line, but an assistant picks the call. A shame, he must be gone.
As we were leaving, the gate to his building opened. A glance was enough to figure out the man on the picture. That's him.
Q, my wingman sets to tail him. I start up the other way sprinting, in order to cut his path a block away.
A minute later, he's vanished. Q lost visual contact. I knew it. I should have chased the man straight away. My greed for stylishness betrayed me.
What's that about side tracking him and closing him down? I should have raced after him.
Q paid his mistake hours later with 2 whacking defeats at my hand on football game.
Today.
I have an other try at his place, early in the morning. Nothing.
Meanwhile, I've finished reading this sissy-book Harry Potter.
Good for culture.
1pm. I show up at his work place. Minutes later, he walks out, looking feverish, and starts down the street. I leave my cover and tail him.
He has not seen me. I've got to wait for him to cross a street, out of his neutral territory. That's done. He's there, heading towards a mail box.
I cross the street after him, reach for my gun.
Justice - Waters of Nazareth pounds in my ears. That's a perfect tune for the instant. Tense and dark. It gives rythm to my pace, and shoots adrenalin down my veins.
I'm standing there. Inches behind him.
Say his name.
He turns around.
Splurt. Point blank shot. Full breast.
Next.

Cheers,

Charly Brown killed the Spykids
Dear shadow government commanders,
Strong Dwarf is dead.
I killed him at 05h10 PM. I rang, I asked for flour, he didn’t hear, he opened the door, I shoot. He’s dead.
Now, we are going to have a drink with all the spykids.
Dryly yours
Charly Brown.

Anyway he got killed 2 days after... So there is no need to argue anymore.
I'm surprised by John's report, I think he will have to explain himself to the mighty tequila bottle at streetwars party :D

I have been wondering why the number of kills is so low, even for the supremely dedicated JS and OSS117... reading kill stories from previous games I've come to the tentative conclusion that it's the environment: Paris and all its interphones and gardians, it's not so easy for a budding assassin to hide undetected, unharassed.
That's my moment of musing for the day.
Posted by: CC at September 20, 2007 7:27 AM
You're surely right CC.
In my view, it is also due to the number of players. According to the intels I gathered around, there was 100 players at the begining; when there was 200-250 in other cities.

ENGLISH
There is a lot a confusions about a target in this game : the one who write in 20minutes’ blog.
I’ve received his file 2 days ago : I’m his killer.
He’s complaining to be harassed by “teams” of eliminated players but I’ve met one of them yesterday after noon and I’d like to give “my” explanation about that.
I think that a lot of players have been eliminated this week, but no list has been sent to us so maybe this guys think there are in. It’s probably why I’ve been weet yesterday after noon by one of them near my target’s house :-). He was chasing my target too.
It’s a pitty that the 20minutes’ blog’s writer didn’t verify his informations before posting because it seems making trouble and confusion among players in the easy-going game.
I’m not tall (damn…), I’m light brown and I’m not a cop (other informations must stay secret ;-D)

What ?? great feedback CC... you're right, Paris is a difficult city to play ! but I taked in consideration your point of view, regarding my score... we are not 14 anymore... this morning, agent Kouloukouik passed away... A very delicat approch... I used a piano ( i know, it is strange) to suprise him, and of course, kill him... I will give more details on this later...
What is the best score for this past game ?
OSS 177
PS : my commander, I know the way you think... but a piano is not like a rusty trombone... Not about sex, I keep that for the time I will find you :-)

sorry, i read my english... he is so poor...
I try to correct few mistakes in my question :
What are the best scores(nb of kills for the winner) for the past games in US, UK... ?
better understandingfull ?

Inexperienced Paris Rookies,
Agent Fear Faktor Five has in the area of 20 kills in two games. This could be because he is one of the best, or it could be because he lives in London-which is smaller then Central Park .
The respected Bushwick Country Club are the kill champions of NYC with 11 in 2006. A city, mind you, that is bigger then three square blocks.
Of course just because one has the most kills does not deem them champion. Neither Fear Factor Five or the Bushwick Country Club were the winners of their respective cities.
The reigning NYC champion only has ten kills over two games- very few have ever seen him.
Yours in sub-rosa,

"because he acted with no fair play and didn’t want to give me
his ID card (perhaps he didn’t have it on him?!)"
Wow, what a fucking disappointment reading this.
Agent St Clair turned around me three times to find piece of water on my shoes. Was it my gun snorkeling after the shoot ? We don't know.
He admited we shot at the same time and did not want to take my card right now.
He even admited we should get an other target. But few hours later, when safe at home, he changed his mind.
People who know me know my addiction to loyalty and fairplay.
If I don't got it this time, it's maybe because of a mess during this killing process.
Advantage goes to assassin, that's only thing that made you got the point.
My fairplay even made me give him all the informations I gathered on his next target.
So don't mess afterwards.
I'm quite happy for you that's just a game, because all that story makes me smile.
But in real life, take care with your next errors with other people, they would not miss you, as they'd be really bored with such moron attitude.
Peace.
